1. Accepting these terms
By creating an account or using Scormula, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. You must be able to enter a binding agreement and use the service for lawful purposes. If you use Scormula for an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to do so.
2. What Scormula provides
Scormula is a hosted authoring tool for building, previewing and downloading SCORM course packages. It is not an LMS, does not host learners, and cannot control how a third-party LMS imports or runs a package. Supported export formats and tested limits are described in the product and help pages.
3. Accounts and security
Provide accurate account information, keep sign-in credentials secure and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless caused by Scormula’s failure to use reasonable care.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of course content and exported packages. You give Scormula the limited permission needed to store, process, preview and package that content for you. You confirm you have the necessary rights to upload and use it, including images, video, fonts, trademarks and personal information.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use Scormula to break the law, infringe rights, distribute malware, probe security, bypass plan limits, interfere with other customers, or upload content that is illegal or seriously harmful. We may restrict abusive activity to protect the service and other users.
6. Free and paid plans
Plan inclusions, limits, prices, renewals and cancellation are explained on the Subscriptions page and at checkout. Paid subscriptions renew until cancelled. Stripe processes payments. If payment fails, paid capabilities may be restricted while your saved courses remain preserved subject to these terms.
7. Availability and changes
We aim to provide a dependable service but cannot promise uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, provider outages and security events can occur. We may improve or change features and limits, but will not deliberately remove access to already downloaded SCORM packages. Material changes affecting a paid subscription will be communicated reasonably.
8. Backups and exports
Scormula maintains operational recovery processes, but it is still sensible to keep copies of important exported packages and original source media. A SCORM export is a snapshot. Editing a course later requires a new export and may require replacing the package in your LMS.
9. Suspension and termination
You may cancel Pro or delete your account using Settings. We may suspend access where reasonably necessary for security, non-payment, serious misuse or legal compliance. Where practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue. Account deletion is permanent and removes active Scormula project data as described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Consumer rights
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable Australian Consumer Law guarantees. If the service has a problem, contact us so we can assess and provide the remedy required by law.
11. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Scormula is not responsible for indirect loss, lost profits, or failures caused by an LMS, internet connection, user-supplied content or another third-party service outside our reasonable control. Any limit applies only where lawful and does not affect non-excludable consumer rights.
